“Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. This is the interrelated structure of reality.” - The Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. Life in the hyper-paced new century can burn you out and snuff your spark if you’re not careful. The power is in the mind as well as the body. Much depends on attitude and our responses to the events in our lives. Keeping up your spirits and vitality can be challenging. It’s so easy to give up and fall down, blaming external objects and happenings for our condition. Youth is not a particular age but a state of mind. Who says we have to decay as we age? Loss of enthusiasm (and collagen) causes wrinkles. Think of life, not age and cherish your dreams, ideals, imagination, confidence, compassion and the simplicity of the present moment.
